Hi class. I am so glad to be done with this class. I don't feel that I really learned too much in this course, as it was the same as composition 1, but I had to take it anyways. I think that writing research papers might be useful to some pepole, but it won't be in my profession, so to me it was just a class I was forced to take to get my credits. I hope you all do well in the future, good luck to all.

Hi class. I am thrilled to be done with this project. I am really starting to hate writing agian. Now I remember why I dropped out of high school when I was a kid. I like to just sit down and do something all at once. I think that the long drawn out, whole semester projects are a bit much for me to get used to, but I am doing this to get a diploma so I will just keep doing it. I can't say that I am glad to take these classes that are of no future use to me, but I am forced to do it so I will just get them done. Then I can graduate and never have to do it again.

Hi class. I have never in my life wanted to have a blog, and I gotta tell ya, I can't wait until this class ends so that I don't have to do this anymore. I hope there is a way to erase this blog from the internet, because I really don't even want this much of my personal thoughts to be out there. It's a huge waste of my time as a student. I could be studying right now, instead of pointlessly writing about nothing. I know a lot of people enjoy this kind of thing, but I don't, and I find it kind of a waste of my tuition money to do these kinds of pointless exercises that don't have anything to do with my chosen profession.

Unit 7 post
Hi everyone. I think that the discussion board this week has been very helpful. I always find it very helpful to have someone look at my writing and give me suggestions. Sometimes when I write I can't see the small mistakes that I may make, so if I have someone look at it, they can give me ideas about how to make improvements. I know some people get upset, but I have a thick skin, so constructive comments don't bother me.

Unit 6 post
Hi everyone. Well for the last 6 weeks I have been struggling, both personally and in school. The personal part is mostly time and money, not enough of either lol, so that I am managing ok. But, school is a different story, I am starting to get very frustrated with all the homework and time spent taking classes that I really do not need to get the job that I want. I am writing on a blog, now what does that have to do with medical transcription? Nothing at all, and that really makes me upset. I hate wasting time, I do not have enough of it as it is, and I am really not enjoying the way I have to write english papers and take math classes that I do not need or want to take. I am not here to enjoy the learning process, I am just trying top get a better job so I can make money to support my family. Unfortunately. I have to go through a bunch of crap to get there, and I will, but I sometimes need to vent, so why not vent on this pointless blog.

Unit 5 post
Hi class. Well, up to this point the biggest challenge that I am having at Kaplan is time. I am a single mom, and I work a lot of hours to make ends meet so I have very little time left to not only do my school work, but even finding time to sleep is a challenge. I am doing the best I can, but it is still a huge problem for me to finish all the work on time. Other than the time problem, I really do not have any other problems with my schooling. The work is hard, but I am able to follow it better than I thought I would when I decided to go back to school. I had been out of school for over 15 years when I went back, so I was pretty scared about not being able to do the work, so as far as I can tell, if I could find like 5 more hours in every day I will be doing great and have no more problems lol.

Unit 4 post
Hi everyone. I think that plagiarism is a very serious issue. Whether it is accidental or intentional it is still stealing from the person who originially did all the research and work. So, we all need to be very careful when we are researching our projects, and make sure that we give credit where it is due. Before I started back to school I never really gave much thought to plagiarism, but now I see how easily it can happen, and the consequences can be very severe. You could wind up kicked out of school for it, so make sure that you cite and reference everthing that you get from someone else's work.

C. Pirdy unit 3 post
Hi everyone. I am really enjoying my online schooling. I am in the medical transcription course, and the online environment is the perfect setting for me to learn. I am a single mom, and I have many obligations with my son and my job, so being able to choose when to do my own school work is a huge thing for me. The classes are convenient and having options of when to go to class is a good way for me to be able to attend these courses. I also like that I don't have to get a sitter or drive to go to school. So all in all, this is working out very well for me and my lifestyle, and I know I will be able to accomplish my goals and earn my degree.
